ocracoke/Frisco for SSW swell or NE swell for Rodanthe?? -Saturday 4/26!!

hey guys, this flat spell is killing me and I've been looking around for a road trip to obx but can't decide where. I've always scored at the Lighthouse bc it picks up any ole swell direction it seems but this saturday is a toss up between Ocracoke/Frisco (which might be better on this ghost of a chance SSW swell that's supposed to fill in or Rodanthe/Avon/Buxton for a N/NE swell. The only problem is the Diamond Shoals buoy seems to be down! Now if I had the DS data I'd know exactly where to go. any help advice from you locals would be great. I always travel solo with a dog (or 2!) so I won't be bombarding any breaks with all my homies so you can rest easy knowing that if you help me I'll only bring the stoke (and maybe some smoke) to your homebreaks! love and baseketball to all! -BBG

yup and I totally plan on doing that...If it works out like in my imagination I'll come up from the south and hit frisco early as I can (seems the SSW swell will taper off by mid day) and then work my way up to east facing points further North for some post-lunch incoming high tide surf around Avon/Rodanthez. I've never been skunked before but not having the buoy up is making me worry. bla bla bla...

just a warning, frisco is hard to score well for non locals, its shifty and might leave you with your dik in your hand

not saying it cant be done, just counting on frisco is like counting on a slot machine

Also, there is as hilarious amount of sharks in the cove, if you think that kind of thing is funny.

that's why I usually ride my 10' in unfamiliar waters. I like to be at least as big as the men in grey suits swimming under me . and if that doesn't deter them my 2nd line of defense is that I have your avatar painted on the bottom of my board lee! sharks don't furk with Cash! (haha I wish)
