    Delaminated board

I have a Stretch Quad, and it is about a year old, no leaks or problems. Today when I took it out of my board bag the entire bottom looks like a huge air bubble on it. Why would this happen? I did the same thing I always do put it in my board bag and store it in my house, its been about a week since I last looked at it but WTF! I can't believe it. Do companies usually replace boards that have delaminated? What should I do, l love this board and it was expensive.

did you leave it in your car???...

it may have a tiny crack in it, and some water got in it.... then your board gets too hot, the water evaporates but has nowhere to go, and PRESTO... you now have a huge airbubble in your board....

Sounds like the same thing that happened to my sons soft board. He left it out in the sun and blew up like a balloon.

Well I found out it is from leaving in the car. Sucks, I had no idea that would happen because I have left my board in my car before. So whatever you do, don't leave your board in your car inside a board bag when its hot and sunny it will get cooked. I hope it can get fixed, I dropped off at Malibus today.

the good news is if the delam is on a flat section of the bottom (not the rails) its a real easy fix. the bad news is leaving the board in a hot car probably weakened the glass/foam bond on other parts of the board that aren't visibly delaminated now.
