On a positive note, I talked to another dirty schiester bastard today about the piece of plastic that the last surgeon left in there. "Retained surgical instrument" they call it. I swear, if I made half the mistakes in my career that people in the medical community make, I wouldn't have a job.

    Of course, Za Gaff.

And I look like Hunter when I ride NJ Transit (the bus, the train, the way to go...)

Not because I'm tripping testicles, but because you just can't believe the characters on a NJ Transit bus, especially those that run directly or indirectly to the drug lands.

Why, last month, I was staring like that at some obese girl, dressed in a halter top, who proclaimed to the world all of the diseases she had, and all the drugs she was on (prescribed and other). She knew every friggin person that came on the bus.

They say the world is a stage. Well for that gal a NJ TRANSIT bus was her stage, and we were all just captive observers.

Oh man cepriano, you have got to read the book. It is a classic of 20th century American literature. Right up there with Hustler.

Is that possible med. malpractice? With the right lawyer you won't need another job.

Yeah, it's malpractice; but it's not like winning the lotto or anything. I'm pretty pissed; but even if I get some kind of settlement it ain't gonna be anywhere near enough to quit my day job. More like a surf trip.

Don’t really have any diseases (that I know of), but have had plenty of injuries over the years of my life.

-Fell when I was a kid, bit threw the bottom portion of my lip, have cool scar on both sides

-Various scars and scrapes n all from being a knuckle head growing up

-Broke both wrists at the same time trying to pull some crazy type of flip skating on a 14 foot vert ramp when I was like 11 or 12 years old

-Broke a part of my left elbow off and it spun out of place, had a cast with 2 pins holding that elbow chunk in place for 3 months to heal

-Broke my fibula in two longboarding, had to be put back in place with a plate and 6 screws to heal. Never healed straight, it’s at an angle now and ended up having surgery two years after the first surgery to have the hardware removed since two screws were hitting nerve endings are hurt. I kept the hardware, it’s sitting on my desk at home still

-Went down on my sport bike. Had fresh tires, going way too fast on a back windy road that had gravel all over the place and the back tire kicked out on me and I slide like 200 yards down the shoulder without a jacket. Got road rash all over my back but I didn’t even care about that, I tore my left quadricep above my knee and the muscle was ripped beneath my kneecap and it was exposed. That was the freakiest accident I’ve had, got infected too and was on a lot of antibiotics for around 2 months, was really freaked out I might have to get it amputated.

-Have a couple herniated discs in my back/neck from who the hell knows what

-And the latest two that come to mind, I got skegged two weekends ago on my left forearm, if I hadn’t have had my wetsuit on I’d probably have like 20 stitches from my elbow to my wrist, and only have a little nick in my suit, was surprised when I saw my arm an hour later when I was getting changed in the parking lot. And on Saturday morning I got a floater on my first wave of my second session and my board came down on my head after I imploded on the landing. Fin clonked me and left a looney toons lump and was gushing blood. I surfed another wave in (after freaking some dude out cus he saw the blood running down my face cus of the water) checked it out and it was a small gash I filled with liquid bandage, then paddled back out.

I am a walking fcking accident constantly happening, and truly own up to the name “zombie surfer”

I take pride in my walking broken meat and bonesack of a body, still kickin and still surfing!

Disclaimer: I have toned down A LOT of the stupid sh!t I used to do, I do my best at taking only calculated risk now and avoid the unnecessary ones lol
