    Ocmd/assate

    Any idea what the condition of the sandbars are like in OCMD/assateague?

    Stuck heading down there this weekend (usually ride LBI/cedars)
    and was thinking with the winds and crowds of OC i'd make the long paddle.

    not sure about assateague, but sandbars in ocean city are crap right now.

    we also haven't had a decent swell in a while, so we'll see how the sandbars react to 13-14 second period. Big difference between how a beach will handle waves that have 6 second periods compared to 14 seconds.
