    Skaters/Surfers Boston Area

Living out in Watertown right now. Mostly skate on my own but have a good crew of surfers out in the surrounding areas. Anybody ever hit the Hingham or Newburyport Pools? It is the flat season and I`m always looking for good heads to skate/surf with, it helps with motivation and progression.

Hey guys! We're celebrating Boston LB's 500th member mark by throwing a huge skate jam! The idea is to get as many of the newer skaters to come out and see what Boston LB does on the regular, therefore we will all be skating some of our favorite and most regular spots all day long.

I skate the Newburyport pools, Amesbury park and go to Rye Airfield from time to time. Definitely a good work out and off season killer. Also a good way to roll the ankle before some good swell rolls in. But anyways, go hit one of those spots. Amesbury not so worth it, unless your pretty good at flat ground rather than transitions. Rye will have it all, and there are always some nice dudes to skate with. Just be friendly and engage in a little convo. You will more than likely make a couple buddies that way. I always try to be outspoken and friendly. It definitely makes the session better when everyone is having fun, rather than trying to look cool and measure up to others. We are all here to have fun.

I skate, surf, and drink cheap beer. I live in Rhode Island, but always down to get out of the land of 5ft transitions

Newburyport is my favorite and while it is easy to make friends, I am looking more for rideshare/drinking buddies in my area. Again, have lots of friends to skate with N of Boston and even some S of Boston, but have yet to establish a crew IN the city.

Good call for the long trips (that would be a 20mi one). Cheap drinks and grilled cheese, I'm down.
