Never used one. Just googled it. Looks like a cool board and one I would personally really like.

That being said. May I rant? I am going to.

Enough with the questions about particular board models. Its not rocket science. Either you like the shape or you don't. Board model doesn't mean squat. Heck every individual one is going to be different anyway.

    Ok I'm done.

Good luck. You thinking about picking one up I suppose?

Do not have or ridden, but this board is definitely on my wish list.

An old co-workers husband is the production manager at Super in Oside. She said I could get customs for $450... Then I went and burned that bridge

I highly recommend this board on the east coast. You could say it's like a mini Simmons. They can handle some ass, but you're probably on your thruster at that point.

Interesting. I was just thinking to buy a similar board, a Roberts Hope Diamond, 7'4". For bigger or older (thats me) guys that want a bit more flotation.

That Roberts will treat you ok. Perhaps a 2 5/8 white diamond about 6'4"?

I've got one and really like it. I picked it up mid spring but with our meager conditions as of late I've not ridden it as much as I'd like. For me, I need a quality waist high wave to really have fun on it. For reference I'm 5'10 175lbs and I got a 5'6. That size is perfect for me and I set it up as a quad. I'm jonesing for some juice to see how it handles in the larger stuff...I think it'll do pretty good. The day I picked it up we had a fun little wave out front, here's a couple pics.

Take it with a grain of salt but this site gives you some insight. Not a ton of info but may help you.

guess it's all relative, but the hope diamond and fling don't seem that similar to me.

i picked up a 5'4 towards the end of winder.
    i love the thing.
in fact its the only board ive ridden since...

this is the first hybrid fish thing ive owned, never surfed a hybrid shaped that didnt end up feeling too floaty or sluggish, but then again have only been on a handful of them.

i enjoy it more and more each session, its becoming my favorite board. ive only ridden it in stomach maybe chest high punchy stuff a few times but it handles well. pretty much theres no frustration about it, its a fun fun feeling board and it does what you tell it to.

fins that came with it are massive. threw these on it and it fockin flys! really cool top to bottom feeling, of course not the super vertical thruster feel but its a blast. turns on a dime with the smaller fins and fits in some really cool spots on the wave. the tail is pulled in a bit but it is also a lot thinner than the rest of the board so it doesn't give you the feeling of sitting on a cork. Definitely setup be ridden as a quad.. as a thruster it kind of sucks. but it was like knee high so maybe within the next few months i'll think differently. the quad keels i bought are in the link below
