Thread: Sea Isle surf

  1. I wasn't putting down Hammonton. Sorry if it disturbed the chip on your shoulder.

Like I said......"around" is relative. To me that's a 10 minute drive one direction or another. To you that may be a 45 minute drive. The only time I surf way up north is if work was taking me there anyway. I've got a big client in PP Beach and its not unusual for me to take my gear and hit Bayhead or Manesquan after my appointments. Very happy with the surf here in OC and there really isn't much need for me to waste time driving.

Good choice of a comeback. I appreciate your angle.

Honey, if I was ashamed of where I lived, I wouldn't post it. Like, most of y'all don't even do that.....like, like....you !!

I've explained my love and choice of Hammonton on here a couple of times. But I'll do it again. Back many moons ago I had two interests in life - sniffing dope and surfing. Hammonton sets you right dab in the middle of where the action of both goes down. You know, Camden/Philly and Ocean City NJ. I was living in OC and decided to make the move. Plus, I got a job in Delran, so Hammonton's location made the commute bearable. There's no jobs in Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem counties. DO you know that. There really isn't.

Plus, I knew some cholos in Hammy that I used to drive to the city which financed my habit. If it wasn't for them I might have to have prostituted myself. Sucky, sucky, me love you long time. Also, back in the day I didn't like living in a small quiet beach town because the cops there get on my jock too much. I don't know, I didn't even like living in Ocean City. I just didn't like it.

To get into it further, I actually don't really like Atlantic or Cape May counties. If it wasn't for waves, I'd probably live in the Philly Metro area.

More and more, Atlantic and Cape May counties are reminding me of Alabama. Oh smack, did you hear The Showboat might shut down their doors? First the Revel and now The Showboat. The way things are going, coastal South Jersey is going to be worse than Alabama. Jeez, I'm starting to think like a North Jersey guy these days.

Wow, I never thought it would come to this, but this area is going down the tubes. A lot of people around here are really hicky-like.

Actually to get a real thump bub, you actually have to travel further than I. I'm glad you are proud of living 600 yards from the beach. What do you live in the bay? Right on !! Seriously, I'm not saying this to attack you, but SIC is kind of lacking.

Dude the way you speak of this special wind that lights up Sea Isle, it must be some rare strange wind direction that I've never heard of. But even if this magical wind that only blows offshore at Sea Isle happened everyday, so what? SIC is still 3 foot smaller than 7-11 in Ship Bottom.

Oh you know what? I betcha that even though I live so far away from the beach, that I actually surf more than you do. Just a suspicion I have. But what do I know.

Hammonton is awesome, dude. You should give it a try. You like Italians and Mexicans?
Good, I hope it turns into Alabama. And you are right, Sea Isle is small and crappy. Y'all hear that? Small and crappy. So everyone stay the f@ck away from Sea Isle, especially along the stretch known as whale beach and ESPECIALLY if you run into a 50 something dude with a big beard wearing a shirt that says "I HATE PEOPLE"

Good lord no one can read tone on the computer.

You can put down Hammonton all you want. I do. I write letters to the editor of the local paper telling them that their town has a inferiority complex.

I wasn't "angry" at your posts. I mean, do you really think I'm going to get upset by someone from Sea Isle City or Lower/Middle/Upper Township or whatever? No, you have to live in Ocean City or north for your opinion to matter to me.

    Aboot my chip.......

So I have a chip? All I said to that OP dude was, "head north." Then you claimed that Sea Isle was the best wave on the coast on a few occasions. That's just not true. So, I suggested you traveling north to see macho waves like Holyoke.

Then you went and insulted the town of Hammonton.

HAMMONTON - THE BLUEBERRY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. THE HOME OF SICILIAN HILLBILLIES AND THEIR OFFSPRING.

AND YOU DID IT DAYS BEFORE THE RED, WHITE AND BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL!!!

    A FESTIVAL CELEBRATING A FRUIT.

AND TOWN OFFICIALS ARE CALLING SUNDAY JUNE 29TH AS HAMMONTON"S GREATEST MOMENT, AS A BIKE RACE WILL BE ROLLING THROUGH TOWN CORRESPONDING WITH THE BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL. YES A TRIATHALON WILL BE STARTING AT AC AND ROLLING THROUGH HAMMONTON.

IT IS OUR FINEST HOUR AND YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO SPEAK BADLY OF HAMMONTON??

    WOW, you are a monster.

Now you're form OC. No self-respecting Ocean City guy hypes SIC.

OC guys love OC and OC alone, except when Seth Stafford is shooting pictures at Bayhead. Then they love Bayhead and OC.

SIC OC SIC OC SIC OC...........

    I just can't keep up.

    So f it........

If you aren't from Atlantic City or north, then I just don't want to hear it. I never liked OC anyways. Well, I like a winter's stroll on the boardwalk. I'd like those north side jetties if every dude from OC to Somers Point to Cherry Hill wasn't there. I like Manco's and Manco's

Manco & Manco's owners are going to Federal prison. I like Manco & Mancos, though I'd rather do Mack's in Wildwood, but who the hell goes down there these days?

They busted a dope ring the other week in Cape May and Cumberland counties. They got like 300,000 bags of the stuff. It's reported that if one person did all 300,000 bags it still wouldn't get a nagger high. Those naggers got garbage down the way.

CHAVEZ: I got you beat. I don't just hate people.......

My Shirt says: I HATE EVEYTHING

West side, naggers. Remember The Red, White and Blueberry Festival tomorrow in Hammonton, NJ. It's going to be a hoot. There's music and food with blue berries ........and blue berry food.....and ......and blue berry edibles.... Your kids will love it as all kids you blue berries.

Listen, yeah, I don't hold appreciation for Stone Harbor or Sea Isle City. Oh, I've gone five time around the way to Sea Isle and the ocean never invited me in. NEVER.

You go to Stone Harbor and it's just like going to a wealthy neighborhood in Omaha, NE. You're riding the same things. Look, you can't name a break after nuns unless you are in Ocean County. What do you expect? Jesus walked on water. He didn't do the "re-entry" at the OP Pro back in 1984.

I mean when you really look at it, you'll see the same things. You got this one guy on here who thinks South OC is the greatest stretch of ocean coast since Tom Curren invaded France.

I don't know. I've seen the differences through the years. I've seen it as a low tide outside mush-burger/high tide shore breaker. Listen, I got the high tide, waist high barrels in 1987 there. It was like a micro day at Euhaki Beach park. Really it was the greatest novel small wave barrels ever. And I was there.

I've also seen it as a thump, dump bub that had some thrills. Oh, I've seen it. Yes, I have.

Yeah, I had an affair with Avalon one winter, but that was different.

So, there you go. Now before you insult me and the Sicilian hillbillies in Hammonton you might want to think not once, but four times aboot things. I've been to Manasquan. I write strange emails to Jon Coen. I've gotten drunk on Cedar Bonnet Island with frat boys from Stockton who called themselves The Sig Shack. I've gotten eye infections from Stone Harbor in 1987. I've talked, briefly with Gary Clayton for God's sake and Chuck Allison.

Michele Malkin went to Holy Spirit. Ok , we've got that far, right. Yeah, sure, I send her emails pretending to be one of "those" people from Pleasantville. Asians are very afraid of "those" people. It happens all of the time.

But CJ I think you get the point of what I'm trying to accomplish here on earth. Thanks. Some day we will meet in neutral Strathmere, and we will picnic and surf together. And hey if you fall in love that's your problem. I can NOT be responsible for that.

  10. Ummmmm Ok.
