I've found that square tables aren't the best for the winter, it gives more paddling power, but can't hold in steep surf... For winter, I usually gravitate towards oval/round tables they hold very well in NJ winter surf.

  2. 5'7" 185lbs. The SP ain't gonna cut it in winter. Def gonna surf a lot more this winter and we all can always use a new ride.

    Tail: Round

I'd compare this past winter to be the Justin Bieber of winters, it was kind of cute and exciting when it first started out but then it got a bit obnoxious and should've probably just stayed in Canada.

Bro I have a bat tail in almost those same dimensions and length, actually a bit thicker. It's an unreal summer/fall board but it did not suit me well when I charged solid winter swell with it. Paddled well but felt cumbersome in the wave and the lack of projection was not cool when I got caught in the lip and got shott OTF.

Funny Bieber post bro. Everyone likes a joke bouts Beibs and/or Canada.

If you have any experience with Canadians at all this will hit home. It's so right on the money. I've got some good buds that could've been in this damn vid based on how they talk and what they're like.
