This has always been my dream home. Not because it overlooks Cotton's; but because Richard Milhouse Nixon lived there.

One of my favorite stories about Nixon and Corky Carrol:
    http://m.ocregister.com/articles/cot...surf-days.html

. . . one day when I was getting out of the water and he was walking by with a group of body guards. He waved me over and said, “So, you are our surfing champion.”

I smiled and said back, “So, you are our president.” We both laughed and that was that.

That's a sick article Gaff, thanks for posting. Tough to envision what it was like there in the private days.

Invest in that resort if you have an extra $50k lying around and then vacation there free of charge one month every year!

A few of them weren't that expensive, under half a mil, people pay that for generic suburban McMansions all the time. Question for most of us is probably more how you earn a living once you move there.

$115K for that brick shack in El Salvador!

Under $200k and he's willing to entertain offers! Can't we set up a group mortgage and make this place the SI east coaster's winter getaway house? I'm in, we can rent it when we aren't using it!
