    waves and winds

    hey guys

    just moved to NY and I don't really know about the best winds here..
    for long beach what it would be?
    and for jersey?

    longbeach faces south, so offshore (good) winds are N (coming from the north).

    new jersey faces east, so offshore winds are W.
