    Invest #97

Latest models predict tropical storm status within 24 hours, hurricane status within 96 hours.

The predicted track (except for LBAR) shows a patch similar to Bertha.

I hope LBAR Is wrong, and intensity models are correct...

Unlike bertha, its got no convection and is being ripped in half by SW winds that will either destroy it, or push it towards Ireland within 48 hours.

not even recognizable as a storm...

NHC isn't even looking at this low anymore. As of now the Atlantic is dead!!!

yeah, By the way, it seems like if that SHIPS intensity model was accurate, we'd have about 25 Atlantic Hurricanes per season, and Cape Hatteras would be the newest spot on the ASP tour right in between Chopes and J-Bay.

    Guess I was wrong

Okay I guess I was a little too hopeful...

In other news, Typhoon Fung-Wong is looking nice.

Why don't we give our storms bad ass names like Fung-Wong?
