Yup. There is surf there, as long as there is a swell rolling through.
Yeah there are defenatly waves in asbury. I live on 6th ave. myslef. I go to the 7th ave. beach or 8th ave. which is the surfing beach. There are only crowds on the weekend.
no theres only syringes, aids, drugs and homeless black men going on at those breaks... don't surf asbury!
yea you're actually wrong...crime and such is down in asbury over the last couple years...and regardless of how the inner asbury city is...the beach is beautiful and the waves are solid
yea good call ha... let them think its bad...
haha so true.
No brah....you are actually wrong....asbury is still the 5hit hole it was years ago. I live there i know. Crime is still here. My GF sister just got held up with a knife to her neck last week. Serious too i'm not even joking.... The guy jumped in her car as she was leaving work and told her to drive him to the boardwalk in asbury. Lucky enough she is ok and the guy got caught and is in jail. People get shot in broad day light in asbury. When it's dark...don't walk the streets.
To the OP.....As for surfing asbury has some good spots....one in particular. "the pipe" my favorite....just get to the empress hotel....don't go in tho unless you are gay. the break in front of the hotel fires. you will see the sewage pipe....yes sewage...dirty jerz. what can i say?
the beach is still a 5hit hole too.....how can you say it's beautiful? Yes they are re-building the boardwalk. But, lets face it Asbury is Asbury. Same people.... same vibes...maybe it looks a little dif but it's still the same old Asbury.
