southern NC can't get bigger than a few feet overhead. It's too shallow offshore and that limits the overall heights.-
Thank you - you are absolutely correct. People down here like to inflat their wave heights, but in the 6 years I've lived down here, I have never seen it bigger than a few feet overhead; maybe 2' overhead at the biggest. Even when it gets overhead, its very soft even at the "heavier" breaks like Mas, CB, etc.
