    Wetsuit glue

The seam running up the back of my wetsuit top is pretty destroyed. Can anyone recommend some decent wetsuit repair glue and where to get it?

    Thanks

    warranty

alot of wetsuit manufactuers have warrantys where you can send you're wetsuit back to them and they will fix it and send it back to you, free of charge. i would check and see if youre wetsuit manufactuer does this first before you start glueing things up.

i got a tear about an inch long near the ankle of my 3/2 last year and sealed it up with aquaseal, no problems since. Your repair sounds more extensive tho... i think i found it at a surfshop somewhere, but u can prob. find it online pretty easy.

Loctite Stick n Seal Ultra universal adhesive...This was recommended to me last fall to repair my 5/4 and I had no problems this winter. I can imagine it might not work on extensive damage but for rips and tears, it's perfect so far.

How about if I just want to reattach a knee pad. Would I use the same stuff?

Yes...follow the directions though there are different techniques for different kinds of repairs.

Yours sounds fairly easy though. I would get it if i were you. I bought mine at a local surf shop. Stop in your local shop and ask for it they just may have it.

It is also a good idea to hold on to a old suit and not throw it out. I have used pieces from an old suit to fix a fairly new one before with that stuff.

What he said. also, if you are in or near south jersey and take it to wetsuit world in stone harbor, they will get it repaired for you.

Does anyone have videos of people smoking wet suit glue and bugging out?
