Word up Fletch-man no prob. Yea Jay Reale does an excellent service system there in ebodyboarding.com - almost ordered the Vipers there, but they only had a sale of 15% + S&H, and I made a better choice There's also a message board which I used there recently, Were Mike Stewart himself may just answer your question (if you're nice) which is awesome . . . .He's got a new movie out called FIRE - 2-discs and I'm hoping he does a premiere on the EC somewhere, I don't care where - I wanna go!

But yea, I ain't gonna travel anywhere far to get my surf gear when the surfs' in my backyard and the shops are just a couple minutes away.

And keeping the money local is VERY important. Always remember, that with every dollar that you spend, you are basically voting, in a sense. You are saying you support this product, brand, whatever it is, and you must think about the impact it may have on local economy. If you spend your money mail-ordering stuff that comes from China or somewhere overseas, then that money doesn't go back into the rotation of the economy.
Just think about this for a second while i scratch my ass

Honestly, don't you think many of the boards at K-Coast (and the other shops) are from China? Buy from a domestic shaper with home blown foam and eliminate the middle man! And all that surf-hip clothing... how much of that stuff is really made in the USA?

ive bought 4 boards from k-coast, but maid sure that they were shaped and glassed in the USA, they do have quite a bit of non-domestic boards that are cheap. just wish they carried more like lost, stretch, almerrick........

I just bought a board at kcoast last week, got a killer trade in on a used board and ended up picking up a wrv s-coil with tracpad and tax for a little over $400. Stoked! Service was great.

    K Coast is THEE Shop!

As a sponger K~Coast has my full support. I've bought a few boards ,wet suites , gloves , boots and the like from there and they have always been cool to me. (Unlike some shops where they treat you like an ass just b/c your a sponger.)

And when the new shop first opened a few of "us" whined abit about the BB 'section being a cube next to the shoes and not very well stocked. That was shortly remedied and moved to the current location IN THE SURF ROOM and the stock is MUCH BETTER! Wall FULL of every board you could want and ALL gear. The one or two times they didn't have something I was told "I'll order some come back in a few days..." and you know what THEY FOLLOWED THROUGH! The sh!t was there when I went back.

K Coast does a good job and fair prices....other than clothes but the tourons buy them for the most part.

And if they don't carry it Jay's site does and he is awesome.

KCOAST is the best. Chauncey's and Malibu's are cool and all, but at K-Coast the deals are awsome. We need waves bad, but later this week we should get some around Friday i think. Peace between all shops....

K-Coast is great because they have the largest selection of boards out of the East Coast (TK, WRV, Ashton, etc) while many of the other shops have much more limited selection when it comes to local shapes. All OC shops are great but K-Coast will always be my first spot when I'm looking for a new board.

Yeah so we live on the east coast meaning our waves are fickle as hell, and when it's good we all go out and surf..I'm clearly over seeing everyone bashing everyones **** on here from shop to shop about teams.. we're better than u and ****...there isn't such thing as teams around here..yeah a few stickers are thrown out and there u go congrats ur a team member!! can't we all just enjoy surfing for what its for and not the material ****. Everyone has a niche and shop at different places so if u like one more than another go there and be loyal and support them bc they need it now more than ever.Get off your lazy asses and do something productive with ur life instead of bashing shop owners around town that have made this a way of life for you and your grommets to come. If it wasnt for the shops around here what the hell would you do???? Everyone has an opinion on who has the best service around town so we will let time tell during these hard times and see who makes it..and bashing bodyboarders versuses surfers is stupid..if you ask any pro surfer they will say they started out on foamie and thats where they learned all of their knowledge about surfing and timing and waves in general....

Does anybody know why k-coast stopped carrying Hawaiian shapes ?? They used to carry Hawaiian island creations, Town and Country, and a few others i think...... I think the last time i saw any of those boards on the rack was before 2000, but i remember seeing a lot of them on the rack at one point in time.
