Yeah, right. Just bring some batteries, your i-Pod and favorite portable i-Pod stereo. You know how our swell windows are for the good and larger stuff... 3 to 4 hours, maybe 6 hours on a good day.

It would be competitive only for the simple fact that it will be on video and photographed from every possible angle. No judges, but heats scheduled. The video is shot and printed or dubbed via the internet. The kiddies on the net vote what they think is the best surfer/booger, big air, carve, tube, hack, best photograph, best artwork, best short video etc. The call for the show will only happen when the moons align...and they do once a year. The waiting period will need to be during a warmer time. I think, May-October. Alternate boogie heats and standup heats. Awards to be given by surf shops or local community stores after the event goes down. Surf shops will also be responsible for invites being they are giving the awards. I know you and I have been pondering this idea for a while and I feel this is the best idea I have come up with yet! It will draw high amounts of net traffic and independent levels of performance watermen. An off note, I am putting together a paddle board race series for this summer that I will let you know about soon!

Please walk away from surfing now.....forever. Please.

Good luck having a waiting period like that on Delmarva, especially during those months.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

I have thought about walking away from surfing, but I like getting barreled. See, with waves like this on hidden bars that I often surf alone, walking away just isn't an option to me! The way I see it is, an idea stands the test of possible monumental potential. Asking someone to quit? That is the easy way out of life. I'll keep getting tubed! Thanks though...Attachment 307

Wow that shot is wonderful. If only you had the shot covered from 8 different angles including a helmet cam, board cam, three water shots, two beach shots and a pic on google earth. Yes! I can see it now... the thumping music blaring from the beach... your bro's my bro's maybe some ho's and the entire mid-atlantic community cheering you on. Go bro go! Only then could we and you capture the entire radical moment you entered the barrel of a chest high Delmarva screamer! then we could all vote on the most radical aspect of your radicalness! Are you wearing a waterproof mp3 player too? because that would really make it epic. Are you gone yet?
