One of the surf shops in Puerto Rico had a number of these stickers made up because of the increasing kookiness of the SUPs in the line-ups - any and all except for the Gas Chambers type breaks - including Tres Palmas. Funny thing is that some of the most notable waveriding related injuries in recent months have been self inflicted by SUP'ers.

are u kidding???? who gives a **** about some stupid sticker...wow the things kids will do to show their youth. if you haven't tried an sup you should shut your mouth, if you have been run over by one you can open it. either way its enjoyment for people, in the ocean we ALL SHARE. it also happens to be great for keeping in surf shape when there is little to no swell. personally I prefer normal surfing, but now and then I'll take out the sup....variety is the spice of life...too bad u young no-it-alls haven't been around long enough to handle "the spice". nuff said...now u can go back to collecting stickers, like a bunch of grammar school tools. oh ya and i doubt any of you would say **** to a guy on an sup, as he'd probably beat your ass, so instead u whine about it in a forum. next time u see an sup'r be a man and spout off to him...that is if you're not too busy collecting stickers!!!
well said wavetucker, i agree, the whole sticker thing seems childish, dont ya'll got somthin better to do then worring about sup boarders and throwing stickers around? i think ill make a sticker that says NO F@gott Sht talkers!, that would lighten up the line up a bit, cant we just get along?

Maybe someone should make another handle - "No SUPs"
Besides, there's a right place for SUPs and a wrong place. the wrong place being in a lineup with YOU being the only goofy guy on one. Kinda puts the rest of us in danger if ya can't handle your sh!t. The RIGHT place would be far, far away from people, out on your own mystical journey, perhaps paddle down to some uninhibited barrier island for the day and find your own little peeling wave. And set up camp, and stay there for a while, and really ask yourself why do I really ride such a big bulky board?
I recall a day, I believe it was the Hanna swell, I went to Assateague for the noon time. ONE kooky guy on one of those things, it was light blue. Everyone else on a shortboard or a bodyboard. He was bumpin' and lubbin' around through everyone else, trying to pick out a set wave. . .
Well, he got his set wave, right on the head. He rowed himself into the biggest one, pearled it, and we never saw him out there again. Last I saw him he was dragging that thing up the beach sulking the whole way. (Mind you, Hanna produced roughly 6-8ft at Assateague that day, we all saw it happen, and knew it was coming).
They aren't for these waters, and thanks for asking, cause next time I see a SUP getting in others' way, I will ask them to kindly row his boat 100 yards from shore, that he was endangering swimmers.

Bro... I teach surf camp for WRV. At the camp we have a SUP, which i used many times. Using it only made me realize how retarded they really are. If riding a longboard the size of a john boat with an oar sounds fun to you, then more power too ya (i guess), but I'm just letting you know that everyone else thinks it really lame.
But anyways, My stand on SUP'ers is the same on as my stand on old crappy longboarders. CUT THEM OFF, THINK NOTHING OFF IT!!!! Then when they wine about it say, "well dude, your not surfing, your SUPing," then proceed to burn them every time they attempt to ride a wave, or at least wash out their section.
Its the only way they will ever learn to stay away from lineups!!!

Life is too short, as long as you're riding, having fun, and not hurting anyone, ride whatever gets it done. Try to remember THE GOLDEN RULE! It works for surfing too.
