Yea definately go with the original techs they come in normal colors unlike tech 2s and they float which tech 2s don't and they feel awesome on your feet

Churchills are murderous to feet. I've worn lots of fins, but only own a pair of Churchills. Fins are fins... Whatever is comfortable is what you should wear.

Yeh they really destory your feet without any booty on em. They do get much more thrust then the tech 2s though, i got to try both. I like churchills.

The grey and blue Churchills may be Churchill Slashers. I've got a pair of those and they have very little thrust, and they're very uncomfortable. The blue & yellow Churchills are the Makapus--they're a lot more popular than the Slashers so I'd assume they have more thrust though I've never tried them.

bottom line is techs are the way to go imo., i rock the original techs during winter and tech 2's during summer fall spring...techs just make an all around good comfortable fin with decent thrust, the only downfall is the float thing with the 2's, but hey thats whats teathers/shoestrings are for right!?..

They come in 3 types: Normal "yellow dot" - 5" and 7", and a more flexible "orange dot" - 5" model. Stiff and heavy. XL is as big as they make them. Foot box is very boxy. But solves the fin sock problem with a glued in neoprene pad on the upperfoot of the foot box. I can't wear them until warm weather because a 5mm bootie and my foot do no fit in them I've tested them out in a pool barefoot and they worked well with no chafing or blistering. It'll be nice when the water gets warmer and I can just pull those on without a little sock, one of the key selling points with me. I've had some serious damage to the knuckles of some toes from not wearing socks. I think I have "hammer toes" thats what someone called them before. My feet are F-ed

Yep. The slashers aren't my style. They're smaller and have less thrust. Where as the Makapus are longer and more powerful. Depends on your riding style i guess. If you like dropknee, the slashers are prolly better. Otherwise I'd stick to the Makapus. The long point is so stiff that it makes for an incredible thrust.
