it depends if your willing to lose half of inch off the nose? but take it to a repair guy and see what they would say that would be your best bet.

i just had the nose and rail repaired on 2 of my boards...they got banged up on the way back from my vacation. one of the boards is a tuflite flyer, it came out ok, nose was reshaped...cost me $120 for both boards

never fly american airlines, they treat u and your stuff like ****, they have no customer service

I have had good experiences with American Airlines over the past 15 to 20 years. My only b*tch and moan was getting charged surfboard rates going down to Costa Rica (but not back). First time on American in decades! Wrong person, wrong time - the old wench actually went into a back room to get a key out to unlock and drawer to pull out a measuring tape. Menopause is rough. It is a "bodyboard" for pete's sake!

imagine paying $100 extra to ship the board just to have them bang it and almost ruin it so you can pay $120 in repairs...its ridiculous, and they have a 24 hr policy for u to bring back your damaged stuff or its impossible to get any compensation and they make it impossible to file a complaint or talk to someone in customer service
