    Uh Oh... Broke my friends board.

    A buddy of mine and I were at the peir at Folly beach yesterday having a great time at low tide, tons of waves for all. We both got on the same wave and I zigged and he zagged and my fin ended up cutting into his board.

    I appologized and he was upset but not mad. What's protocol for dinging someone's board? It easily could have been mine... Buy a beer? Help with the repair? Nothing?

    It depends on whos fault it ended up being, but I'd offer to split the cost to repair it. If you guys repair it yourself, then it is just a part of surfing...buy him a beer and call it a day.

    Yup, offer to split the cost of the repair if you can't do it yourselves and buy him a few rounds,call it a day!
