    I've lived in NY, NJ, FL and NC and have surfed in every EC state except for GA and RI -my personal favorites/standouts

    (note - I've never surfed Rhode Island - which I know for a fact goes off - and have never been lucky enough to really score OBX during hurricane season - so take with a grain of salt):

    Montauk NY
    Sebastian Inlet, FL
    Lake Worth Pier, FL
    Manasquan Inlet
    Martha's Vineyard, MA
