wave and wind maps are updated 4 times per day... The forecast is only updated twice per day, hence the problem.
You will see this validated on the evening update.

the forecast update time will change a bit, but ya right now, it is about 5:45am/pm. The time of last update is listed on the bottom of the detailed forecast.
