I can't just miss an important meeting, or worse, my spinning class, because the forecast is "likely" to be chest high and clean. I can't leave my labradoodle home alone on a moments notice to take off for the beach just because a thigh high forecast jumped to being chest to head. He needs to be checked into a dog hotel, otherwise he gets traumatized and scratches my mauve, suede sofas. Also, the surf reports need to be updated hourly, with more specific locations so when I'm driving to the beach in my BMW, I can check swellinfo on my iphone while I'm having a conference call on my bluetooth and know exactly where I need to go to get the best waves. It's really not too much to ask to be able to plan my surfing days weeks ahead around my own schedule and be able to go to the best spot with no work done on my part.
