    don't think its going to be that big of a help on a funboard. the pad over the fins is really a shortboard concept. with a longer board you have to move around too much for a pad to be effective. stick with wax or switch to a shortboard.

    wait till a traction pad comes on whiskey. there is no use spending around 30 bucks on one

    Why would you need a traction pad on a 7'8". You're never going to be that far back on the board.

  6. nice thanks for the good input guys... another question about trac pads i have 6'3" double fin retro fish and was going to get this trac pad for it.. any thoughts?

    it would work on that board but retro purists would insist that you should ride it with wax the way they did in the 70s.

  9. at least the color of the pad is retro lookin so it should look pretty wild
