why not, you can do a ton more tricks on a bodyboard as well as flips and what not while surfing theres not too much of a variety...

Because i love it.
I have respect for all surfers. I have alot of friends that surf and we've all been out in the same swell together ripping. As we're paddling out, my friend (sponger) and I will always give a hoot to a surfer dropping into a sic wave.
Enjoy the surf my friends.
I don't want to "feed the troll", but I still bodyboard and body surf when I feel like. There are advantages to each method depending on the conditions. I broke out the BZ bodyboard about a month ago and had a lot of fun. I don't know why people feel the need to label one as better than the other. They all have their place in my opinion.
