    Help?

    I am new to surfing (please don't call me names just yet) and I have an 8 ft. funboard. I am around 150 lbs, 5'6". What are the smallest waves on which I should be able to stand. Will the conditions this weekend work for me?

    you will be able to stand on almost anything at your weight with that board.

    I'll second that statement. My wife is a little taller than you and I'm getting her the same length board. You should be good to ride anything knee high and up. Below that and its really just too damn boring.
