hey I've got a question swellinfo... I was in ocean isle nc (10 miles west of holden)surfing this evening and the tide seemed to be rising. It seemed highest around 7:30-8 when i got out, but your site and a lot of others are saying high tide is around noon tomorrow? just wondering if you knew, ps is the swell supposed to go a little more east maybe ese before the winds go onshore/sideshore.. anway i appreciate the site bro
the tides look ok to me. With this strong storm system offshore, it is likely that tides were running higher than normal. If you notice the tide seem off as compared to observations on a normal day let me know.
