Okay 2 weeks ago I got a 5/4/3 flow and I wanted to give so people so real life result on Hyper Flexs Flow series suits and how they perform.
Okay The suit itself is a 5/4/3 Flow . It has fleece lining on the chest , hood and back for added warmth. Front Zip with draw string on the sides and hood .
The suit has great strech and fits snug but not too tight arounf the cuffs and was easy to get in but not to the point that the proper fit was sacrafised.
Once in the water I notice it was really hot in it almost to the point that I was sweating. But is was in the Mid 60's today but when the wind picked up I didnt get any chills or feel the wind blow threw the suit.
All the seams are sewed , glued and taped and I could not feel any leaks the seam work at all . only time water got in the suit is when I got sucked over the falls and I wasnt wearing the hood and a little bit of water got in the suite but i was only cold for a few mins.
Over all I have to say that I am really happy with the suite and recomend that if anyone need some new winter rubber and for $224 its a great bargain
I will post some pics soon as the suit dries out

I just ordered one a few days ago - I was disappointed that I missed the Whiskey Alert on the Xcel 5/4/3, but reviews on the Hyperflex have been solid from all sources. Thanks for the info.

I would hope you were not cold I was in an old 3/2 billabong revolution and no boots or gloves.

I just got a hyperflex as well, wore it for the first time earlier in the week and it was awsome.Usually I wear a separate hood and its a pain in the neck but with this attached hood it wasn't to bad.Its a tougher suit to take on and off then one with a zipper from the back but I wore a rashguard and it was a little easier to get into.Overall I am really pleased. One more thing that ticked me off was this was about my 3rd sesh with my Oneill lobster claws and already they tore between my index and middle finger. Not too happy about that.....

I can also got a Hyperflex flow 4/3 for this winter. The water was in the mild 60's but the wind was howling and was pretty chilly, not freezing, but chilly, I didn't get cold at all. The only problem is that the way they designed their chest zip makes it flush more than other suits with batwing entries (like ripcurl), but onces you figure out the nuances of the cinches it doesn't really flush that bad at all. And the neck hurts too, but any wetsuit gives you a rash somewhere.
