I presume you are talking about your board and not your weed. Your airline's website should have prices and rules for oversize baggage. check the site now and check it the day before you leave to make sure the rules haven't changed in the mean time. Shipping a large parcel overseas is expensive and time consuming--and who will sign for your board when it arrives.

beware of some airlines. delta charges 300 bucks each way for each board for overseas trips. ouch. is it possible to borrow or rent a board when you arrive?

if you are talking about your weed, insertion is probably your best bet. just make sure there is no metal in the baggie.

lmfao, agreed 100%. another option is to buy one there and sell it back to someone before you leave. if thats possible it might be the cheapest way to you.

What are the general rates for bodyboards too, if any? I'll be traveling to school in Hawaii in January with most likely 2 or 3 boards in one bag. Will they charge by board or for the bag, or will they just let me check it as normal luggage?
