it is definetly not hardcore by any means. The random screaming and having mainly singing vocals puts it in the screamo category. "hardcore" is more punk influenced. "Metal" is more metallica influenced. mix the two together and you get bands like The Acacia Strain. An example of heavier metal may be Soilwork, an example of hardcore may be Terror, but the music in that video is more like these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6yTfwJCzqY
It's a quote from beerfest basically calling him a little b**** haha. But really, I think without your guys main vocalist who really has some breathing problems it could be ok if you work on it. Try going to a studio and record something, it will be completely different if you individually record and mesh them together. Producing is a key part of good music quality and here you're in a garage with echoing and some instruments are drowning out the, it just doesn't work well.
Oh and on a side note maybe we should start a poll of music to listen to pre-surfing, post-surfing, and in general.
Oh, one more thing....worry more about the music and actually sounding good before acting like a mosh pit fool. Express it through your music man.
ew oh god please dont say were scene metal thats disturbing. Heres the actual song maybe itll do more justice, who cares if were not hardcore, what do u think of the actual music

you need a new drummer, another guitarist, and a new vocalist. the screamer isnt terrible but also needs to work on making his vocals understandable....theres a lot of metal bands out there that scream but you can still understand them.
