    Go pro cam

    Has anyone ever had used the HD surf hero go pro cam? It looks like it takes amazing pictures and video, but its a lot of money.

    the 150 one is still really good and definition isnt bad at all so if you dont want to spend to much get the regular one its still ballin

    I had the original one and now have the $150 dollar one. When you get it to work right it was cool but half of my videos are of my stupid face as I try to figure out if the friggin thing is on or not . I have the wrist mount but the deck mount option looks a little more manageable. The wrist mount feels weird and is distractiing to surf with IMO. Hope this helps.

    wow from that video, that camera looks amazing, is there anyway does anybody here know if you could attach one of them to a bodyboard?

    Flip HD Ultra records and streams 720p and you can buy a housing for it for like 50 bucks. The camera itself costs about 180 USD

    yea true but I just saw surflines article on this cam and it says that the old one uses three- four batteries for only two hours for the camera to be on. So I think the new one would save money if you use it enough because it comes with a rechargable battery.

    true it really depends if u are will to drop the extra $$ do it and u are gonna get a better camera so really its on how much u got. Personally i would buy the surf HD and then buy the helmet accessories so i dont just use it for surf

    check out the panasonic lumix tough camera thats what i have
    it takes awesome pics and its waterproof
