Surfboard or Sponge?

I mostly surf but in the summer when its not big out I will sponge or even bodysurf. I plan on buying some really nice hand carved Handplanes for body surfing around income tax time.

i believe bodysurfing is more rewarding than both bodyboarding and surfing, its an excellent workout and you can get some killa views.

and someone mentioned colin herihly in a previouse post...he basically revolutionised the drop knee aspect of bodyboarding and absolutely SHREDS southside DE on a stick. one of the few pople that will paddle out at that spot on a stick

i love bodyboarding, but surfers are chill also. Just annoying when you get no respect :/ i think anyone out on big days reserves respect whether its a surfer or bodyboarder

I see very few bodyboarders where I surf.I guess both aspects has its advantages.Just wondering if the bodyboarders have any desire to switch over.One good thing with bodyboarding is at least you guys dont have to shell out 7 bills for a new board.
