    Puerto is no doubt a contender but it's far from a perfect wave from my experience. Videos and pictures don't show that most set waves closeout. But to side with you, the makeable ones that come in are close to perfect but inconsistent.

    it is not always perfect. I was there for 2 weeks and it was mostly closed out towards the end of october. You had to pick off corners to get a decent ride.

    Well there is Ricon thats a Point Break but there are 2 beaches north of Ricon that are considered Part of the State park that are nice beach breaks. One Easter when I was 16 or 17 I went out west to for a famliy reunion and we stayed in a place like 10 mins from Ricon Point and about another 10 -15min up there road there was a nice beach break that was less crowded Call Tarpits .

    I just didnt wanna give up any "Cali" Boys spot out LOL

    Everyone should go there. Not all the way to the end by the Inlet. It sucks over there. But, it gets so good along the beach in front of the rides and arcades. You have to watch out though, there's localism. I heard it breaks really far out too.

    Puerto Escondido is the best beach break I have ever been to. Is there other sandbars that can hold 30ft++ barrels.
