I have several friends who used to spend their summers in NJ and every year at least 1 of them would get their car waxed. they went up 5 yrs straight, by the 3rd yr they had made enough friends that while it would still happen, it was done in a joking/friendly manner.
I've never experienced the "guido" stereotype or (benny?) in my life, until I was walking through seaside. Just walking down the road w/ a board to the casino pier and I hear "VinnyY...Lookit dis friggin guy, in hizz stoopid suit and S*&^!!! Hey Guy!! F*** YOU!!".... It was really confusing, headache confusing. Couldn't even focus on surfing confusing....
...In contrast, the surfers are very mellow, unless you forget ur etiquette. Saw one guy try to get into his car with 3 bros hassling him for a couple drop ins. Hassling = Beating the guys face in and breaking his board, btw.

It says 5 sec for sat in Venice, which depends on the tide to break, but there are other beaches that are decent @ 5 sec.
Will there ever be a wave height model for the "hole" between venice and St. Pete? Ive seen in waist-chest somewhere North by 25 min and Ven will be flat. Vice versa, too!!!
my magic 8-ball, which is filled with pure ocean water from Hawaii's north shore, tells me that Saturday will be a "try again later" kind of day, that might bring a few ride-able waves by sunset... so if the webcams are down still, i might go check it out in person...
as for Sunday, who needs 'magic' to figure out it will be decent most of the day... but still, try and get out there early...
