today in the afternoon at wrightsville beach was really fun at the right spot. a guy i know who i have been surfing with for some years now he was out and he got a frontside barell that i practically gave him as i was at the peak but my leash got tangled on my foot. then he gave me the next 2 set waves that were really nice rights. then he got a backhand barrel which was really nice and he made both.

that drift was so bad by the time I got out . The current pulled you from HQ to broadway in less than 5 mins . Alot of guy got pulled over the the rocks and alot of guys packed it in after a while . It was definatly better before the tide switched up

yeah i drove down to cape may last night to hit the swell today. the drift was so strong that after 3 waves or 10 minutes you would be down a couple hundred yards. so my buddy and i just got out and walked, got in, got waves and repeated that 10 times. it was crazy too because the wave off the jetty was huge and barrelling, the second wave down was long as hell and still chest high, and the wave coming up to the other jetty was long, fun and waist high. 3 different type of waves over and over and over again

yeah it was hollow and steep off the rocks , Once you got pas the pipe by the rock it gets deaper and you can get some super long lefts. I would paddle out by the jetty and it would pull me right past the pipe so I kept doing that all day . I didnt want to get pulled all the way down to Broadway I see some guy almost get worked hard on the rock but he just got around the jetty as the set waves came in

Checked out Naval Jettys, DE at 7:00am, the conditions were schetchy with 6-8ft plus sets depending where you were. South Naval Jetty was in the solid 8ft range with plus sets, Northern Jetty was peaking at the point which looked nasty as hell in the 6-8ft range. There were some nice rideable waves, but I opted to sit this one out knowing that mid-week the conditions will be steller. If it was summertime, then yes I would have pabbled out, but forty degree water with disorganized 6-8ft swells just isn't worth it. Two guys paddled out and caught a couple ok waves, another guy never made it out and paid the price of the coldwater duckdiving. Later about 9:30am two others paddled at the south jetty and had some good rides, but took some beatings on the in-side section. As I left there were many surfers starting to fill up the parking lot looking to challenge the waves. I am looking to get my fill on Thursday if the swell holds up.

it was actually pretty warm today. the winds were warm and light and i managed to stay out there for about 3.5 hours. just had to hit it at the right tide.

and Matt, yeah the wave off the rocks murdered me. i didnt have my thruster and my fish was too loose and i just kept getting owned on that wave lol. almost hit the pipe too lol. we probably crossed paths
