    Water in my ears.

So, after surfing everyday for a decade, one would think that I would have this problem allt he time...
But for whatever reason, the past few days, I have not been able to get this water out of my ears. I can't tell it is there until I blow my nose or something, then I can feel the pressure and the air release like I have water deep down in my ears somehow....

What is the quickest way to remedy this? I remember as a kid, my grandmother would always swab out our ears with alcohol after we would swim... Would this method release some of the pressure, moisture in there? Usually from surfing so much, the water releases itself during the next session. I am contantly blowing my nose in the water and clearing my sinuses during a session, so usually I don't encounter this. I was also sick a week ago, so the pressure is built up...

Any advice from my fellow Watermen/Waterwomen?

1 part alcohol - to dry ears
1 part vinegar - to kill bacteria

    Or hydrogen peroxide

I had water in my ear a couple of years ago and it took a few days for it to leave.I didn't do anything special thou.It drove me nuts when i was trying to sleep. That little popping sound in my head just flat out sucked. My one buddy actually ended up going to the doctors for his.If it last more then a few days thats what I would do.

Try 1 part Isopropanol and 2 parts hydrogen peroxide. The Isopropanol breaks the surface tension of the water and the hydrogen peroxide sanitizes it and i think helps get the isopropanol get deep into the ear canal. Just put the mixture into the ear and stay on one side for like 10 min. Works Wonders

I remember last year somewhere in these forums someone posted a link to this awesome ear dryer thing. It was like the thing the doctor sticks in your ear to see inside, but it gently blew hot air inside to dry out your ear. Does anyone remember this?
