    Scooter Surfboard Rack

Im getting a scooter on monday http://www.sunnymotor.com/images/pro.../mc_jm5027.jpg i was wondering if anyone had a surfboard rack for a scooter. Ive seen some places selling them but wondering how the wind drag affects it, and also does anyone use a bike rack for a scooter?

Here are a few of my racks. I made them out of PVC and they work well. Thinking of selling the bike BTW, 2009 Honda Ruckus.

Thanks! It is fun to ride. When I first put the board on there I had it way too far forward and when I came to a stop I realized that I had nowhere to put my foot on the right side . I had to jump off the scooter on the left side and pull with all my weight to stop everything from falling onto the racks and board. I have since learned that when coming to a stop shift your weight left so it will lean it that direction.

dam that does look sick.. i wish i was good at crafting things like that.. hows the wind drag when riding it though? does the surfboard catch wind and pull you to the left or right at all when your going fast?
ps why you getting rid of it the ruckus are tight and with that board rack it makes even cooler

Yeah I love the Ruckus. In a perfect world I could keep all my toys and find the time to use them all. Unfortunately when my business is at it's peake I have no time to ride around. My son wants a boat for the summer, so I am trying to sell the Ruckus to fund that purchase. I always figure i can buy another one when I have the money again. I need to get $1900.00 for it to make it worthwhile to sell. It has hardly been ridden, 250 miles on the odometer, has a new battery, those awesome racks , and I will even throw in a bic surfboard . I'll just keep it if I can't get that $$, paid $2700.00 last spring.

I really like the look of that rack! Zippy, is there any way for you to post (or email me) the directions, parts (where you purchased items) and price? That would be super helpful. If you don't have directions (or time to type them out) then could you at least answer these questions for me?

What size PVC did you use?
Did you just glue them standard?
How is it attached to the scooter (can't quite see for sure in the pictures)?
    How much did it cost?
Where'd you buy everything? (Specifically the bungee cord and eye loop)
Any issues or things you'd change if you were building it again?

    Thanks!
    T.D.

Zippy 2 springs ago maybe? You have a visitor message asking where your located to buy your rukus from april 2010. Were you trying to sell it back then too?

Or was that a different rukus? I thought I remembered you listing one as an 08 with 300 miles on it for 1500 but I think it was the same picture you just showed. I remember you saing you'd throw in that board even though it was all delamed.
