Man this is an old post. I sold the ruckus last year and bought 2 new boards and a wetsuit with the money. I never needed the cash for the boat. Sorry Tdoaks I don't remember in detail how I did it. I know that it was attached to the frame with a pvc T that I split down the center and screwed in. It cost about $20 if I remember right. Everything was bought at Home Depot. One thing I will say is having the board on there cut the max speed by 20%. Hope this helps.
It could get up to 55 on a downward hill with no board. I weigh 190 lbs and if I remember right the top speed on a flat with the wind at my back was about 45 mph.
