    good surf/coast colleges

I'm done with the Coast Guard in 2011, and I want to transfer to a surf school. Ones I was thinking of are UNCW and maybe Stockton...any other recommendations? The school of course has to have a lot of women and a solid party rep haha... thanks

can't go wrong with UNCW for what you're looking for. Take a weekend and go spend some time down there. You won't want to leave. I graduated there in 05.

Flagler is also another alternative... but smaller

Stockton is ok academically, but the local area is boring and run-down. Its also not that close to the beach, when compared to some other schools. If you wanted to surf Brigantine, the drive would be like 25 minutes. Bottom line - not recommended.

Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL? Not too sure about this one I do know it is really expensive. There's also Florida Atlantic. Are we talking east coast only? Because if not, some guys will start chiming in about the west coast schools and their breaks.

There's a few schools in Hawaii but you have to consider if you go out there you are not coming back...

Well I'm gunna have to come back to Cape May once every 2 months for duty for Coast Guard so I'd have to keep it on the east coast sadly, my one friend goes to hawaii and has been crying this whole week since hes been home haha. Im thinking my only choice is really UNCW.
