I here all this talk about Needles I have never seen one ever.
It's much better now than in years past. When I was a kid I got staph infections from surfing beaches where untreated sewage was discharged straight into the ocean. They put a stop to that shortly after, but there was a time, not too long ago, that it was legal.
Then they tackled ocean dumping.... which was the source of needles on the beaches. During that time, the mob was dumping barges full of trash, including medical waste, just offshore, rather than paying the tipping fees for proper disposal. I found a needle in Belmar one summer, then found FOUR in one summer right here in my home town... one of them I found with my foot. That caused me to be treated for hep and get tested for AIDS and get liver enzyme tests every couple months for a year after that.
Stop coming here you don't see us going up to Jersey do you. tens of thousands come here we don't need to go there for what shet water
Now I know you don't live on the OBX. Everybody knows OBX tourism is down. If you're living in the OBX and telling people to stop coming, you're either living off of mommy and daddy or independently rich. Given the way you post, the latter is definately out of the question.
You do have an active imagination, though. I guess that's the positive side of having nothing but empty Skoal cans to play with as a kid.
if you saw the water in nj yesterday, youd forget you were on the east coast. it was amazing, but its true, nj's gov doesnt give a **** about our ocean. Good thing I have dual citezen ship! I can leave whenever!
ok see ya later! Move out! I'm sure whatever country you have dual cit for doesn't do anything to treat their sewage before dumping it in the ocean.
