    Save Twin Piers

    Good news: Surfers quoted in the Anna Maria Island Sun have convinced Manatee County to save Twin Piers - at least two of the three piers (why isn't it called Triple Piers?!).
    Bad news: there's a $1.2 million money problem. Keep the stoke going and comment here (if you want your name in the paper, include it)!

    damn id love my name in the paper...i heart twin piers...and if they tore it down that would be too bad says johnnytoobad.

    my daughter and I had our names and picture in the paper back in february at twin piers

    Nice....Picked up a copy of the sun yesterday (island sun newspaper) and realized they were not joking about putttin a name in the paper....the "surfer" (in the pic)coulda used the name johnnytoobad. That was me paper people out back of "happy Ours " rentals, near where jam rocks used to be.Secret spot....


    So What can we do collectively if the funding doesnt come thru? has funding been allocated yet?
