since the biscuit is so thick, is it harder to turn or maneuver?

in short, No. I also have a ci pod and it is very loose, more loose than the biscuit. but unless your a "pro" the biscuit is pleanty loose and maneuverable. plus the biscuit will catch any little bump you go for, and the pod wont.

im 6' 0", 145 lbs, and i ride my 5' 6" biscuit alot these days, and i must say it is one of the best boards i have ever ridden. it rides so great. i also ride the 5' 8" ci skinny fish and that rides better than the biscuit some days. i go about 50-50 with my usage of these boards in the summer. the only thing that keeps me off of the skinny fish sometimes is the fact the it loses the maneuverability and tight turns that the biscuit has due to its four fins.

I am 5-8 155 to 160 lbs. I typically ride a 5-10 x 18 3/4 shortboard. This weeekned i rode a buddies 5-8" lost plank, thing is 21 3/4" wide and 2 3/8" thick and i had so much fun on 1 foot waves. I highly recommend that thing, it was super fun, most fun i have ever had on 1 foot waves!
