Because Cosbys nephew is a f'ing jackaloon. Making me reply to a thread from 3 years ago, damn.

Maybe he read it 3 years ago and mulled it over. Today he came up with his response.

The younger guys are overall much more respectful and laid back. What's up with that, old people? Why not hop back in the Grand Marquis, strap the 12' log to the roof and cruise back to your inland suburb at 55 MPH in the passing lane.
I'm considering installing curb feelers on my Gran Marquis. Maybe a hemorrhoid cushion in the front seat. Play Lawrence Welk music. I'm 57, so you better watch out, ya young whipper-snapper.
Speaking of old, this thread is old.

He even felt like the older men were being really ridiculous... just greedy and totally aggressive to the point that people paddled away from them because they rode every single wave no matter what. I mean good for them to be able to catch wave after wave but I know it annoyed a lot of surfers out there on Saturday.
40 and 50 year olds grew up into 80s and were kids, little ones, or young teens in the 70s. How did you come up with 60s?

A guy cut me off at everyone's favorite virginia beach surf spot this morning. I was already up and cruising so I grabbed his nose and pushed him off the wave. You never know how that kind of thing will end, you know. I ended up complimenting his mustache and everything worked out alright.

A lot of people cutting people off and etc. I had to bail on 2 waves today because of people snaking them. Kinda annoying because it takes me a lot more time and effort to catch them than most surfers out in the water. I was really surprised because I've surfed other spots along the Shore and people have been more courteous and accepting of newbies.

Does anyone have any suggestions for spots to go where I can learn without having to worry about getting cut off nonstop?
Don't surf in Belmar. Fact... Although, as everyone has said, keep quiet, surf as many times as you can, put your dues in, get better and in the end you'll be right in the lineup with everyone else... it's hard to avoid the douchers around here, they're everywhere... just ignore them.

Good advise, not only heard that @ my favorite spot some taken it a step further thanking riders for backing out too.

i couldnt figure out how to delete my account so i just try to only troll the pages thats nearest me.belmar is literally 6 minutes from me,and havnt surfed there since 08.belmar/spring lake the same thing.i actually live right around the corner from 711 now and still havnt been to belmar.its a great beach, but not for surfing.in the winter when all the shoobies migrate back up north, then youll have some fun.u dont want to surf in a designated ssurf zone, and it will be the decline of nj if they start imposing it at every beach.just go to an empty beach with no guard.if u do need to surf infront of a lifeguard, then id say stick to belmar
