    probably dolphin, that sounds like thei M.O. They do a little rolling thing with their bodies as they hit the surface and expose their dorsal. Its like a flip and roll, then they go back under. And no, sharks do not do that. Ever that I know of. You will just see a fin expose and move pretty quickly, laterally in the water.
