Kman is an angry 14yr old that needs a ride to the beach to surf. Always talking about Cali when u probably have no idea what it takes to even get out there find a job and actually live comfortably. The two spots he always mentions are two of the most packed spots and ones that a lot of people know of those that do and don't surf. Is anybody surprised he mentioned those in his posts that r full of nonsense? So if I surf thigh high surf I'm wasting my time? That's y people have a quiver of boards to maximize fun in marginal conditions?

How long does it take to actually post those ridiculous comments full of nonsense anyways? With that type of mastery of the English language I'm sure you will have no trouble getting a job and living comfortably in Cali.

I've been in central cali over a year, having moved from new york. The surf is much better almost all the time than in new york. But the cost of living and job market are tough out here...

That being said, new york is a blast to live in, and to surf in when it comes around - from knee high garbage with a fish to a step up in big noreaster or hurricane surf. You just got to travel to deal with the flat spells. And have the right equipment to get stoked.

I lived in Manhattan for 11 years. The cost of living in San Franscisco, Marin, Pacifica is on par with Manhattan.

I agree, New York City's cost of living is, for the most part, ridiculous. But much of Long island (nassau, suffolk) is definately cheaper.

Yes cheaper, lol. I guess it's all relative. How do they expect someone to survive making around 8 dollars an hour working between 32 and 40 hours a week? I always find it strange that minimum wage workers choose to live in these expensive area's. What do they do? Share a studio apartment with 11 illegal's on a busline and work 80 hours a week? Nice life.I also don't understand people who choose to raise a family in the south bronx and harlem. It's not even cheap! Do they realize if they go 250 miles north they can raise a family in the suburbs with no crime, a good school system, a short commute, cheap big box grocery stores and more minimum wage jobs available than in the ghetto? Living in nyc makes no sense unless you have a high paying wall street job

Yeah, if you moved to cali, you'd spend all your free time working if your just a working stiff with no college education.(of course now everyone goes to college making a college degree no guarantee of success like it used to be...supply and demand) Forget surfing. lol. Maybe if your a movie actor, you could make a move to california. Good luck with that haha
