    surfboard wall rack

    i'm just gettin ready to move into a new/super old house and i zoned off a pretty cool room for me and my buds, No wifes, fiances and or girlfriends. lol I wanted to find a nice looking board rack to hang up in there. just wondering if you guys have any ideas of were to purchase something.

    You could build one to your size and liking for way cheaper.

    i did weld up a nice one before for my garage but i was thinking something alittle nicer looking for in the house maybe some nice wood or something like that

    Thats really nice how do u have the dowl rods secured to hold all the weight

    I have to check with my step-dad, he made it. I believe he dremmeled out the holes on the base, but not all the way through. I'm not sure if he screwed them from behind, but they are slightly angled up, and he used some type of wood glue. They are damn strong.. they hold my snowboard as well, if you know how heavy they are.

    check these out...I use 'em to hang my old collectibles...very cool but a little bit pricey.

    i made one out of some things i picked up at home depot for real cheap they are these things you twist into the wall and holds um real nice and padded to

    Yeah, looking for the same thing. Got a sweet MTB board from the 80's and has some great glassing artwork on it that I want to hang in our nursery. I definately need something secure. Anyone have any luck putting those ring screws into their ceiling and hanging some fancy, nice look rope down and hanging it that way? didn't know if straight up dry wall would support that or if I'd have to find a stud in the ceiling.
