I am about a week away from moving from Wrightsville Beach, NC to Ostional, Cosat Rica. I just graduated from college and in an attempt to escape the realities of corporate life in America and small waves I have decided to make a change. I hardly have any money and will probably need to work some in order to get by. Does anyone know a good way to make a few bucks in Costa Rica without sacraficing adequate travel and surf time?

I met a dude down there in Tamarindo who was from Panama and was just teaching surfing at Witches Rock surf school and was also having one hell of a time! A little smoke a little drink and a hole lota surf makes for a happy man.
Hey I totally understand I did the same. But, instead of costa rico I moved to Puerto Rico right out of the military. After getting told what to do for some many years I really wanted some freedom. So I opened my own store online. But, there are many other ways like for instance what is really good way to live pretty comfortably is selling things like perfumes and fragrances. I did this for a few months and did alright for myself nothing major but alright enough to just surf and not complicate my life with money and responsibilities. Its easy just buy large quantities of perfumes and sell them at a the public markets they have here. You only make about five dollars per sell. But cost of living here is way low. I don't spend more then 800 dollars a month here and that includes housing, food, cost of living, and car payments. Anyway let me know how it goes because the sun is shining, the weather is hot and so are the babes, but most important of all the waves are rockin!
