First off I should start by saying we need to support print as a medium. Electronic is good and I love some trees but there is room for both. With that said, the prices of subscriptions are plummeting, and it's time to buy. Surfer mag is $15 for two years. Transworld Surf is $20 for two years and you get some sandals or leash.
Of all the surfing mags out there which do you think is the best? Of all, not just the ones I mentioned.
Australia's Surfing Life is phenomenal. Not only do they post some great articles and photo's, but they do so without our American prude-ness. Nudity and coarse language are the norm.
The Surfer's Journal is my personal favorite. Of everything out there, it's the most relevant to my own experience (and probably most people here, as well).
The American surf mag's (Surfing, Surfer, TWS) have sold out to the Britney Spears generation, in my opinion...I don't give a f#$% about my "core score". Last time I checked, surfing is about finding your own path, not falling in line with pop culture.
