For this winter, the Rip Curl or the Hyperflex? Ive heard good things about Hyperflex. Insulator looks better in my opinion but obviously i shouldnt by a suit for looks. So which would you buy. more warmer? flexible?
Also rip curl has the return and repair deal so im in the middle...

i'm a huge fan of rip curl wetsuits, i think they're some of the best out there. that said, i think you should go w/ the hyperflex. it's a great suit, it'll keep you warm as all hell, & the hood is built in. w/ the insulator, it's removable. similar concept to the o'neill mutant. i just don't see the need for a 5/4 w/ a removable hood. i can't think of one session in my 5/4 where i've thought to myself, "damn, i really wish i could take this hood off." in my mind, if the conditions call for a 5/4, they also call for a hood.
so go w/ the hyperflex. it's a great suit.

I just got an Xcel Infinity X-Zip 3/2. Awesome suit. Retails for $310. Super stretchy, warm and comfortable. Haven't tried it in really cold water yet but so far so good.

I just bought a Quiksilver Cell 6, the hollow fiber technolgy suit with the liquid tape sealed seams from the reviews i have read they are nice suits, soon as i use it I will post a review here.

bad wetsuit, the blue stuff on the inside delaminates from the neoprene, and rips easy, and its pretty heavy. but super flexible and warm

same thing happened to a QS cell back zip 4/3 I had... didn't even last a year before it was trash

I am hoping the cell 6 HFT which is the better of the 08 quik cell suits holds up its a 3/2 so its for 2 months in the fall and two months in spring. For what i paid if it last two falls and springs I will be happy. SUper flexible and super warm is what i need
