Hitting up the Jersey shore?

What's up guys. Conditions looking to be really nice out on LBI today and this weekend.

I really want to go down for a nice session the problem is im without a suit right now, I need to get a new one for the fall to spring. Is is possible to trunk it out? The water seems to be in the upper 60s, I've seen 68.

Good idea or no?

it's flat today, and i surfed a few nights ago wishing i had boots on.

I actually have my old boots that are still in good shape, lol. I'd look weird with like a rash guard, trunks and booties lol. Were you trunking or did you have a suit with no boots?

Tomorrow it's looking to be 3 ft, idk I wanna get out. I haven't been on anything since mid sept

I was out today in a spring suit and was comfortable. There was a guy trunking it with a long sleeve rash guard on. Surf was longboardable - knee high with an occasional bigger set. Had the day off and needed to get wet. Hopefully it will be bigger tomorrow.

I'll bring all my stuff just in case, you never know. While I'm down I might as well look for a suit too.

yeah man since its gonna be nice out this weekend i think youll be ok. i wore a 3/2 last friday night but it was a cold day with like 30mph offshores. the water felt nice and warm though, i was cold sitting on my board cause of the wind so i would hop in and tread water next to my board to warm up in the water. ill probably wear my new springsuit tomorrow to see how i like it but im gonna bring my 3/2 just in case its a little chilly. i cant handle cold water though, im always cold when everyone else seems fine so i usually go with a little more rubber than most people i think

Goning to head out saturday to LBI. I think im going to just bring my oneil 1,2 suit. Should be fun this weekend.
